Colony of Bats
Bats are referred to en masse as a colony!

I like a BUNDLE of bats I know its a colony but I like my answer better.
I call them a swarm when they come flying out of the caves all at once!

I would say a Belfry full of bats……
I know the question has already been answered but the first thing that popped to my mind, was “ding”.
How about a dread of bats? I was once attacked by a bat during the National Republican Convention in 1968, the summer I was taking graduate courses at The Ohio State University. One or many, I’ve never gotten over that experience.
