THE COMING BACK OF THE LORD by Rodney Howard Browne

Marie and I were enjoying a quiet evening at home.
The house was strangely still, and we were sitting there slurping freshly perked coffee and having a quiet conversation. You know, one of those valuable moments you wish you may wrap up and bring out again when you essentially need it. Later that evening I found myself returning again to the theory, he is’s coming back.
Is it a waste of your time to target the Lord’s return? Quite the by contrast. It’s biblical ; it’s the exact thing Titus 2:13 claims,’looking for the sanctified hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus.’. You cannot read highly far without stumbling on it, whatever book you choose. In the New Testament alone the events related to Christ’s coming are discussed over 300 times.
you do not sit around, listening for some bugle call or trying to find the rapture cloud.
You do live every day ( as though it’s your last ) for His glory.
You do work conscientiously on your job and in your house ( as if he isn’t coming for another 10 years ) for His Name’s sake. Aside from that, I do not know what to tell you. so long as they are available, they’re free. About the time you finally make up your intellect, the entire thing might have happened, leaving you casting backwards rather than up.
It drips down his hair and drops on to his neck. Josephus, the historian, writes,’Samuel the old murmured in his ear the meaning of the symbol, ‘You will become the new king.”. What did David do? What do you do in a situation like that? I mean, it does not come along one another day.
‘You’re going to be the successive king.’ What did he do? Well, I’m pleased to report, he did not go down to the closest office store and try on crowns. He did not order a brand spanking new set of business cards, telling the printer,’Change it from shepherd to king-elect.’ didn’t have a badge exclaiming,’I'm the new man.’ didn’t shine up a chariot and race through the streets of Bethlehem, howling,’I'm God’s choice.
And when he got through, he thought, Hey, I gotta get back with my sheep ; that’s's my job. David was delicate enough to hear the murmur of Almighty God’s voice,’You will become the new king.’ But as fast as the big moment was over and they turned out the lights, he was humbly back with his sheep.
folks had to actually pull him from the sheep to make him do anything that was related to the spotlights.
