Will my sheep shed his wool?

His mother is friesian and doesn’t shed her wool (she has to be sheared) but his father was fresian/dorper cross and shed his wool on his own. I was just wondering if it is likely or not that my baby ram will shed his wool when it is time to do so. I didn’t know if anyone has a dorper cross herd where all the dorper crosses shed their wool. I know the farmer down the road from us has a ram that sheds it’s wool and ewes that don’t. The babies always have to be sheared, but the ram isn’t a dorper ram. My ram looks identical to his father, but his twin brother looks 100% friesian like his mother. I know the number of genes one gets from their parents is a 50/50 split, but is he more likely to shed his wool like his father because he looks like him? I really want to keep the baby that will shed their wool so I don’t have to shear them.
Your lamb will probably not shed out, as it takes 3-4 crosses to get a complete shed.
